ER Solar collaborated closely with Electricians Today on this new-build project to deliver a high-performance 46.41kW turnkey solar solution for the Bolton Clarke Retirement Village in Bundoora, integrating renewable energy from the ground up to power resident accommodations, communal facilities, dining areas, medical support spaces, lighting, and climate control systems.
As part of the new construction along Plenty Road, the system was designed and installed in coordination with the building’s electrical infrastructure, allowing for optimal rooftop utilisation and seamless connection in the dedicated plant room. This early-stage integration ensured maximum efficiency, using premium Tier-1 Trina Solar modules and a robust Sungrow inverter to capture abundant sunlight in Melbourne’s northern corridor.
The installation supports Bolton Clarke’s commitment to sustainable aged care, significantly lowering energy costs for the not-for-profit operator, reducing environmental impact, and providing reliable, clean power to enhance comfort and wellbeing for residents in this modern, purpose-built retirement community.
